Methodology for the integration of a high-speed train in Maintenance 4.0

Abstract The fourth industrial revolution is changing the way industries face their problems, including maintenance. railway industry moving to adopt this new model. trains are designed, manufactured, and maintained following an Industry 4.0 methodology, but most of current in operation were not designed with technological philosophy, so they must be adapted it. In paper, a methodology for adapting high-speed train proposed. That way, manufactured before paradigm can seize advantages Maintenance 4.0. This based on four stages (physical system, digital twin, information communication technology infrastructure, diagnosis) that comprise required processes digitalize vehicle share between them. characteristics data acquisition systems fulfil described, as well original signal processing techniques developed analysing vibration signals. These allow experimental both real time deferred, according actual maintenance requirements. applied determine operating condition bogie by combining measurements taken during normal obtained from simulations twin. combination (experimental simulations) allows establishing characteristic indicators correspond running would anomalies behaviour train.
